About pizdet.md
Every hour pizdet.md collects the news from Moldova that would make an ordinary person say “pizdeț” and explains it in plain words, in Romanian, Russian, English and Ukrainian. Every article links to its original sources.

What you find here. Price rises, tariffs, corruption, absurd decisions, roads, scandals, accidents and technology that changes your life. For each story we write what happened, what it means for you and the key numbers, in a few sentences.
Stories are sorted into sections: politics, economy and prices, society, justice and corruption, health, education, roads and utilities, incidents, tech and AI, world.
Why “pizdeț”
Because that is how many people in Moldova react when they learn that gas is going up or that a court case was postponed for the 41st time. The word is in the site name and in the score, not in the texts: the summaries are neutral and factual.
How we work
- Every hour a program reads the news sites of Moldova and links the articles about the same event.
- Jev, a judgment model made by TypeSafe, gives each story a score from 0 to 100: the Pizdețometru.
- Stories above the threshold are summarised by Claude Haiku, an AI model, from the original articles only.
- Every text goes through a style check and comes out with all its sources.
What we do not do
- We do not copy the outlets’ texts: we write our own summary and link to the original. Their photos appear only as small images, with the outlet’s name and a link to the article.
- We do not invent facts: we only write what the sources say.
- We do not publish ads, paid content or news sent by parties.
- We do not insult anyone: the judgment is in the score, not in the words.
Who makes the site
pizdet.md is an independent project from Chișinău, made by the team behind satelit.md. It has no ties to parties or state institutions.
